Visometry reports 65% revenue growth

Visometry, a pioneer in augmented reality (AR) solutions tailored for industrial applications, looks back on a highly successful year.

In 2024, Visometry built an impressive track record, expanding internationally, establishing a reseller network, and significantly increasing its revenue. In 2025, the company intends to continue on its innovation-driven growth path, focusing on product advancements and further global expansion.

In 2024, Visometry was able to grow its revenue by roughly 65 %. “We met all our key objectives, including our international expansion and the development of a reseller network in Eastern Europe, South Korea, and Japan,” explains Dr. Harald Wuest, CEO and co-founder of Visometry. “On top of that, we more than doubled licensing revenue for our flagship solution, Twyn.”

Twyn, Visometry’s software for visual quality inspection, has become the go-to solution for many manufacturers. Over the past year, Viscometry’s experts have continuously enhanced the solution, incorporating new customer-inspired features, such as optimized CAD geometry rendering and improved tracking for large components like railroad cars.

These advancements have helped Visometry significantly expand its customer base, securing 100 new clients, including Stellantis and Siemens Mobility. The company now serves around 250 active customers. 2024 also marked Visometry’s expansion into Japan and Brazil, while its presence in the European market continued to grow. Reflecting this momentum, the company expanded its workforce last year, now employing 31 full-time staff.

Ambitious targets for 2025

Visometry has set bold objectives for 2025, aiming to maintain its rapid growth and expand into new regions and use cases. “In 2025, we want to unlock new, untapped market potential and further strengthen our partner network,” says Harald Wuest. “Our goal is to become the global leader in AR-based quality inspection solutions.”

To accelerate global expansion, Visometry is looking to increase its footprint in France, Spain, the US, and Canada. Its core target industries remain manufacturers of agricultural and construction machinery, particularly those with low-volume, high-variability production, as well as producers of welded assemblies and automotive suppliers. Additionally, the company is exploring new sectors, such as shipbuilding and aerospace.

On the product side, the team aims to expand Twyn’s capabilities with new features. One key addition will be to support automated quality inspections by detecting deviations automatically. This reduces the initial setup effort for users, making deployment significantly easier. The camera will no longer be used solely for AR overlays but will also support automated difference analysis. The team is also exploring AI technologies to further automate quality inspection processes.

In 2025, Visometry will present its latest product innovations at major global trade shows, including Control (Stuttgart, Germany), Global Industrie (Lyon, France), MECSPE (Bologna, Italy), MSV (Brno, Czech Republic), and FABTECH (Chicago, USA).

Another highlight of 2025 will be the first-ever Twyn user meeting for German-speaking customers in Darmstadt, Germany. The event will provide a platform for best-practice sharing and discussions on future developments.
