At Visometry, we are developing forefront industrial AR solutions that enable our customers to streamline processes and increase efficieny to gain a competitive advantage through our innovative XR and computer vision solutions.
For the maintenance and further expansion of our IT systems, we are looking for a motivated and talented System Administrator (m/f/d) to join our team and contribute to the development and maintenance of our IT.
As an integral part of the tools and systems we and our customers work with every day, you play an essential role and supports our team by looking after our IT systems and IT-infrastructure.

The role includes the following responsibilities
- You will be responsible for the planning, installation, configuration, operational management and monitoring of our IT
- With your experience and expertise you will handle the further development of our IT infrastructure, integrating new systems and technologies.
- You are responsible for ensuring smooth IT operations (server, network, hardware, backup, patch management, and security)
- You take care of our server administration, network structures and clients (Windows, Linux, Mac)
- Teamwork: in close cooperation with other copmany units you optimize IT processes that include:
- Public services – (License Server, Homepages, Nextcloud)
- Private services – (Sharepoint + Office, Cloud-Systeme, Gitlab, Docker, Ansible, Keycloak)
- Our Continuous Integration infrastructure – (Cmake, GitLab CI, Docker)
Your Profile / Qualifications
- A degree in computer science, a training as a specialist in IT systems, or a comparable qualification.
- Enthusiasm for network technology and a solid understanding of programming languages.
- Team player with strong communication skills.
- Independent and structured way of working.
- Experience with Linux and Windows
- Basic Programming skills, e.g. with Bash-Scripting and Python
- Good know-how in Ethernet and IP-based network protocols
- Experience with monitoring systems (Grafana, InfluxDB)
- German language skills at level C1
- Ideally, you have some familiarity with ISO27001 and understand its basic concepts or processes.
- Experience with at least part of the above solution portfolio
- Interest in a wide range of topics, as well as joy in varied tasks and challenges
- You enjoy learning and want to continuously develop yourself and your skills.
