Visometry GmbH (“we” or “us”) is committed to protecting the privacy of our users. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and disclose information when you use our products, Twyn View and Twyn Studio.
Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to all users of Twyn View and Twyn Studio, regardless of their location.
Information Collection and Use
Twyn View and Twyn Studio do not collect or store any personal data from our users. We do not collect usage statistics or send/receive any data.
However, when you use Twyn Studio with the “Update Check feature” enabled, it performs an initial query upon startup on our docs.visometry.com server in order to gain the most actual version number. On the server side we do a standard anonymized log analysis, where the following information is collected:
- Timestamp of access
- Browser Type
- Eventually Version of the Program
- Rough location from the removed IP address
We use this information to prevent misuse and generate marketing insights. This information is used solely for these purposes and is not shared with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.
Security
We implement a variety of security measures to protect your personal data:
- No data is sent to any service or server
You are responsible, when sending Reports or Inspection Projects to clients or customers. This is done via standard processes, like Apple Sharing Dialog.
Cookies
Our products do not use cookies explicitly, nor any internal used libraries.
Service Providers
There are no service providers or services involved. No data is given away.
International Transfers of Information
No Information may be processed, stored, and used.
Your Consent
By using our products, you consent to our Privacy Policy.
How to Opt Out
You can stop all collection of startup information by disabling the “Check for Updates” feature in Twyn Studio. You may use the standard settings available as part of our products.
